City2Surf 2026

August 9
Group of happy fundraisers pre-City2Surf 2025

Join us in raising $26k in 2026 in this year’s City2Surf to support advanced melanoma patients on their treatment journeys!

Approximately 18,000 Australians were diagnosed with melanoma in 2025. 2 in 3 Aussies will be diagnosed with skin cancer by the age of 70. And melanoma remains the most commonly diagnosed cancer among young Australians aged 20–39.

Yet sadly, a diagnosis is just the beginning.

Treatment is expensive and, often, simply unaffordable, especially for advanced melanoma patients. That’s where Beat Melanoma steps in, assisting advanced melanoma patients financially when they need it most.

In partnership with Melanoma Institute Australia, which distributes our funds, we’re on a collective mission towards ‘zero deaths from melanoma’.

Racing towards ‘$26K in 2026’!

While Neil Evans’ final wish was to give people with melanoma every chance to beat their cancer, without financial barriers, our ultimate mission remains simple: to #beatmelanoma, for good.

This year we’re raising funds to support patients in 2 key areas:

  • Immunotherapy treatments: Immunotherapy isn’t just treatment; it’s the lifeline turning advanced melanoma from a death sentence into a story of survival for many Australians.
  • Rural and regional access: Because *where* you live should never decide *if* you live, we’re helping rural and regional Australians reach the life-saving melanoma treatment they deserve.

But we can’t do it alone!

Fundraise for Beat Melanoma and race for FREE.

Businesses, click LET’S GO on our City2Surf fundraising page and make a minimum donation of $1,000, and we’ll:

  • Shout you up to 5 FREE City2Surf entries
  • Supply Beat Melanoma hats and caps
  • Provide brand acknowledgement across all our promotional channels

Places are strictly limited, though, so be quick.

Call/text 0414 757 390 or email hello@nemf.org.au for more info.
